3.4 ROBOT CONTROL BOX MENUS
3.4.1 Attentions
By selecting this option a short alarm list is displayed on the MRCP (Milking Robot Control Panel).
n case more than one ASTRONAUT milking robot is installed on the same farm, a separate attention list can be
retrieved from each milking robot. The cows are only placed on the attention list of the robot they visited lastly.
After selection of the option "Attentions", the "Communication" between
the robot and the VCPC (Cattle Code Process Controller) is established.
The actual data are displayed on this screen. Cow specific information is
shown including sampling, large intervals between milkings and failed
connections. The first line indicates the number of cows which need
attending. Any cow may appear on different attention lists. Select the 2
nd
, 3
rd
or 4
th
line to check the cow numbers with correspondent attentions.
These lists have the same function as the alarm list of the X-pert programme.
They are restricted, however, to the main alarms, which support the milking
robots performances through intervention of the dairy farmer. It is indicated
how long ago the last successful milking took place.
The list of cow(s) with a failed milking includes the milkings which are aborted
and, hence, considered a failure.
The list of special cows includes animals with three teated udders, sampled
cows, separate milk cows, etc. The specific cow data is shown in separate
screens.
A number of other announcements may be displayed as well of which the
most frequent ones are mentioned hereafter. There may be no cows which
need attending.
