6 Service and maintenance
6.1 SERVICE
6.1.1 Fluids and lubricants
Cleaning agents:
NOTE
• Do not mix cleaning agents.
• Storage temperature of cleaning agents should be between 0°C (32°F) and 40°C (104°F).
Astri
®
-L (green label) reservoir (figure 6.8):
(cleaning agent-LELYWASH/brushes): capacity 22 kg (49 lb.).
Astri
®
-lin (blue label) reservoir:
(alkaline cleaning agent): capacity 24 kg (53 lb.).
Astri
®
-cid (red label) reservoir:
(acid cleaning agent): capacity 25 kg (55 lb.).
Grease and lubricants:
NOTE
• Store lubricants in an area protected from dust, moisture and other contaminants. Use clean containers to
handle them.
• Do not mix lubricants.
Vacuum pump (Busch MM1104 AVM):
Vacuum pump synchronization gear oil capacity: 0,3 l (0,08 US gal.)
Oil specification: BP Enersyn HTX 220.
Hinges:
Use an SAE multi-purpose high temperature grease with Extreme Pressure (EP) performance or equivalent.

6.2.1 Daily maintenance
Attention list:
Check the attention list three times a day. The attention list (figure 5.14 and 5.15) can be found:
• In the X-pert programme under the menu option, "Milking > Lely Astronaut"
