• On the display of the robot control box panel under menu options, "Attentions and Report list" (refer to
section 3.3 ’ROBOT CONTROL BOX PANEL OPERATION’).
NOTE
• Cows with an interval in between milkings of over 10 hours should be guided into the robot; cows with a
different conductivity, colour attention, feed intake or milk yield must be checked for (udder) health.
• Try to find out what caused the attentions.
Milking installation:
Replace milk filter (figure 6.1), at least three times a day, preferably just after a
cleaning.
Disengage the milking robot and carry out the following procedures:
• Blow the milk delivery line empty by pressing the control function key (B1,
figure 2.2) of the multiple function control box (figure 2.1).
• Unscrew the screw cap of the filter housing (figure 6.1).
• Lower the filter housing and detach the milk filter and the spring. If the milk
filter and the spring were already loose, make sure to attach them properly
next time!
• Pull the filter and the spring out of the filter housing and place the filter housing
on the floor.
• Check the filter for the presence of flakes as a means of checking for mastitis
within the herd.
• Rinse the filter ring and inside of the filter housing and let the water flow away.
• Slide the spring into a new filter and fold the filter top into the top of the spring,
then secure filter with the filter ring.
• Slide the filter and the spring back into the filter housing, but make sure that
approx. 15 cm (5.90 in.) still protrudes from the housing. Also ensure that the
thread and top of the filter housing were cleaned thoroughly.
• Attach filter and filter housing to the milk delivery line below the fixation point
and push the filter including the spring into the (conical) beginning of the milk
delivery line.
• Fit the filter housing with the screw cap to the milk delivery line. Use your hands to carefully
tighten the screw cap.
• Make sure that the filter and the spiral are tightly positioned in the tapered beginning of the milk
delivery line. If the filter and the spring became detached, the milk would be pumped alongside
the filter instead of through the milk delivery line. As a result, the milk would not be filtered.
