4.5 DESCRIPTION OF VARIOUS FUNCTIONS OF THE
CLEANING SYNCHRONIZER (CS)
4.5.1 Taking milking robots out of operation
All milking robots of the defined cluster can be put into and out of operation by means of the menu option
"Cleaning system > Cluster operation" (figure 4.20).
4.5.2 Blowing empty the entire milk delivery line
The milk delivery line between the robots and the milk tank can be blown empty by activating the menu option
"Cleaning system > Blow empty milk line" (figure 4.20).
4.5.3 Control of the intermediate cooler (optional)
• Pre-cooling after main cleaning
Upon completion of main cleaning, the cooler is activated for a period of time to ensure filling with cold water
and consequent temperature reduction.
• Cooling during milk discharge
The intermediate cooler/pre-cooler is controlled automatically during pumping out of the milk (after a milking).
As soon as all milk pumps for a particular milk delivery line have stopped pumping, postcooling is necessary
during a certain period of time.
The intermediate cooler is switched on by means of the menu option "Settings > Cleaning system settings
> Postcool time precooler" (figure 4.21).
