4.5.8 Emptying the milk tank
The following configurations are possible (figure 4.8):
• 1 tank man. start
In case of a "1 tank man. start" system, the milking
robots will be put out of operation through activation
of the hotkey "Emptying the milk tank".
While the robots are being put out of operation, the
hotkey LED will be blinking red (figure 4.10). As
soon as the robots are out of operation (i.e. no
pumping of milk to the tank), the LED will be blinking
green constantly. This signal authorises the dairy
factory driver to empty the tank.
No signals are communicated to the milk tank and
the user himself will have to press the same hotkey
to confirm emptying and cleaning of the tank, so that
the robots are put into operation again.
NOTE
• If the milk receiver jar of the robot is used by way of buffer, the instruction "Out of operation" will be
confirmed immediately.
• 1 tank auto start
In case of a "1 tank auto start" system, the hotkey does not have any function.
For this system, the milk collection procedure is started through a separate entry (external system), so that
the entire process is managed from the milk tank control. The milk collection procedure runs as follows:
- putting the milking robots out of operation
- waiting for the robots being put out of operation
- blowing empty of the milk delivery line (optional)
- switching the milk tank three-way valve.
A signal is sent to the milk tank, allowing emptying and cleaning. The CRS+ signals via the milk tank control that
the above mentioned procedure (emptying and cleaning) was finished.
Finally, the release of the milk tank by the HUBBLE tank and cleaning guard (optional) is checked, after which the
milking robots will be put back into operation.
