Service and maintenance
Chapter 6 - page 10
M-HE.002.1003
Cleaning:
Check the temperature of the cleaning water at the end of the milk delivery line (near the tank). To ensure optimum
results the temperature should be at least 77°C (170°F).
In case the robot cannot make use of the cleaning agent due to a blocked tube or because it has run out of stock,
an alarm is generated (if adjusted).
Compressor & air dryer:
For more information on the compressor and the air dryer, you are referred to the corresponding manuals.
Vacuum pump:
Before operation ensure that there is
sufficient oil in the oil sump (section 6.1
’SERVICE’). A too low oil level in the oil
sump may cause damage to the vacuum
pump.
During operation the surface of the vacuum
pump may reach temperatures of more than
70°C (158°F).
Check the oil level of the vacuum pump every 2000 operating hours. The oil level should always be visible
slightly above the middle of the oil level sight glass (figure 6.13) fitted to the front of the vacuum pump.
For more detailed servicing of the vacuum pump, you are referred to the manufacturer's installation and operating
instructions.
6.2.3 Monthly maintenance
Put the robot out of operation before starting maintenance procedures.
