A communication error may occur. Check the plant, for instance, voltage
supply to the VCPC (Cattle Code Process Controller). The lamp POWER
should be on continuously.
3.4.2 Milking
This option is usually selected to monitor the milking process of the robot.
The display shows the current action of the robot.
If the robot is waiting for a cow to enter the box, the adjacent message is
displayed on the screen.
During milking operations the adjacent messages may appear.
3.4.3 Set Cleaning
Cleaning of the robot is generally started up automatically according to the
settings in the Adjust menu. Cleaning with a detergent (Clean 1) or acid
solution (Clean 2) or a rinsing programme can be started manually in this
menu.
This option also indicates when the last cleaning and rinsing took place and
whether or not a detergent or acid solution was used.
By using the "Rinse" option the milking robot is cleaned with a cold water
rinsing. The programme for rinsing is started automatically. The frequency
depends on the adjusted values. An additional rinsing session can be
initiated by choosing this option.
ROBOT = only a robot rinse
ROBOT & LINE = a robot and milk line rinse.
Make sure when starting a rinse of ROBOT & LINE that you start this rinse on all robots at the same time, because
the robot does not synchronise this rinse.
By choosing "Clean 1" or "Clean 2" a main cleaning is activated for the robot. If more than one milking robot is
installed on the same farm, the CRS+ (central cleaning system) will ensure that the milking robots start a cleaning
simultaneously. For more information please refer to chapter 4.3 ’GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE CRS+’.
Option Clean 1 is to activate a cleaning with Astri
®
-lin, a combined lye-based cleaning agent. Option "Clean 2"
activates a cleaning with Astri
®
-cid, an acidic cleaning agent. The cleaning programs are more or less the same.
The only difference is that with an acid cleaning (Clean 2) the cleaning system for the brushes is also decalcified.
The programmes are activated automatically, but the frequency depends on the values which were adjusted in the
menu section 3.4.4 ’Adjust’. If earlier cleaning is required, initiate it by selecting the relevant option.
