Lubrication:
• Lubricate the hinges (refer to section 6.1.1 ’Fluids and
lubricants’) of the cow follower (A, figure 6.14). The easiest
way to approach the grease nipples is to push the carriage
of the robot arm forward. In this way the cow follower is
pulled forward as well.
• Lubricate the swing-in arm (B, figure 6.15) and the parallel
arms (A) of the robot arm.
• The bearings of the cleaning brushes are
not to be greased. Greasing may cause too
great a pressure in the housing which could
damage the drive.
