Service and maintenance
Chapter 6 - page 6
M-HE.002.1003
Replace the damaged tubes as follows:
Disengage the hose clamps.
For easy disassembly you should cut the tube lengthways
near the hose column before removing it.
Align the hose clamps to the tube and slide the tube onto
the hose column without torsion.
Lift the teat cup by the inside of the teat cup head and
check if the position of the cup is fairly straight. Place the
teat cup tubes for the rear teats against one another as
much as possible, pointing away from the robot arm. Place
the teat cup tubes for the front teats against the robot arm
as much as possible. This creates a large amount of space
for the cows legs. If these requirements are not met, correct
the situation by turning the milk tubes near the teat cups
and slightly varying the length.
Ensure that the tubes remain free of torsion. Fit the hose
clamps in such a way that they can not disturb the dip spray
pattern or obstruct movement in any other way.
Tighten the hose clamps without turning the tubes.
