Is it free of damage or obstructions?

interface cable of the
base printer.

Open the rear door, and check:
if the rear door opens and closes properly
the rollers for damage
Are the above components ok?

the diverter is free from damage
the bottom diverter is not open
the upper diverter can be manually moved, and if its spring causes it
to return to its original position

Check the feed/transport rollers.
Are they free of contamination or damage?

Check the gears. Manually turn the gears, and check if the parts engaged
to the gear also turn.
Is it free of damage?

Open the rear door and check the sensors (pass through) for proper
operation. Enter Diagnostics Menu and navigate to:
OUTPUT BIN TESTS > Sensor Test
Does the display on the operator panel change every time the sensing
area of the above sensors are interrupted or blocked?
Go to step 11. Go to step 10.
