TheheadlightcircuitsareprotectedbySAETypeI(automaticreset-cycling)circuitbreakers
thatautomaticallyinterruptthenrestoretheowofcurrentthroughthecircuitintheeventof
anoverload.Thiscyclingwillcontinueuntilthecauseoftheoverloadisrepaired.
SAETypeII(automaticreset,non-cycling)circuitbreakers(ifequipped)provideacomplete
circuitdisconnectuntiltheoverloadiscorrected.Thepowertotheaffectedcircuitbreaker
mustbeshutoffbeforethecircuitbreakerwillresetitself.
Thecircuitprotectionpanelalsoprovidesaccesstobattery,ignitionandgroundterminals
fornon-factoryinstalledelectronicequipment.(OnV-MACchassis,therearetwoseriallink
terminalsforeasylocalconnectionofatriprecordingdevice.)
