Oncetheoptional’IntegratedT emp-A-Start’featureisactivatedviaadashswitch,
thesystemwillautomaticallystartandstopthetruckengine.Safetyoverrides
preventthesystemfromactivationifthetransmissionisingear,thehoodisup,or
theparkingbrakeisreleased.IntegratedTemp-A-Startvoltageandtemperature

detectsanelectronicmalfunction.RefertotheV-MAC®IVVehicleManagement
andControlwithCo-Pilot®DisplayOperator’sGuide.Theelectronicmalfunction
lampmayturnonwhenoperatingthevehicleinabob-tailmodewiththeengine
braketurnedonandcruisecontrolactive.Cruisecontrolwillbecomeinoperative
butcanberesetbyshuttingoff,thenrestartingtheengine.Thisconditioncan
becorrectedbyresettingthe"ServiceBrakeFaultThresholdwithEngineBrake"
