Installation
optoNCDT 2300
5.6.6 EtherCAT
Through the Ethernet connection, the sensor can also be integrated into an EtherCAT environment.
Connect the sensor to a 2-port EtherCAT junction. Use a LAN cable with RJ-45-male connectors and the optionally available
cables PC2300-x/SUB-D and PC2300-0.5/Y.

Alternatively, a connection via the RS422 extension terminal and the cable PC2300-x/CSP is possible. Both are available as optional
accessories. When a sensor ILD2300 is operated together with an Ethernet terminal, so the sensor ILD2300 is also setting to the
EtherCAT connection, see Chap. 8.5.
