7.4.6 Material Data Base
You can save the optical refractive indices of various materials in the sensor, that can be used for the measurement of direct reflection.
The material database of the condition at delivery can be recovered by loading the factory settings. Up to 20 materials can be stored
in the material database.

For measurements on transparent targets, such as films, it is due to the refractive
index to smaller measurement values than it is actually the case.
Is the respective material specified now for the measurement, the refractive index
runs into the calculation and so the sensor delivers the correct result.
