4.5 Machine Adjustments and Calibration
4.5.1 Adjust the Vacuum Pump Pressure
The vacuum pump pressure is factory set to a maximum -125mBar (3.7"Hg). This
setting should never need to be adjusted.
4.5.2 Adjust the Main Drive Belt Tension
It is important that the main drive belt is tensioned correctly to prevent belt slip or
overload of the drive motor.
There must be 10 - 20mm of
deflection in the centre of the
drive belt here.

The correct drive belt tension is:
10mm - 12mm of deflection at the centre of the drive belt.
Tools:
• Allen Key: 3mm
• Spanner: 10mm.
Before you start:
• Remove the LH top side cover (See Section 4.2.6).
