Problem Cause Solution
The sheets do not stop in
the g
athering area.
The paper stop does not close. Check the paper stop solenoid
mechanism (see Section 4.11.2).
The flow sensor is defective. Replace the flow sensor (see Section
4.11.3).
The sidelays do not tamp
the sh
eets.
The tamper solenoid is defective. Replace the tamper solenoid (see
Section 4.11.1).
The base control PCB is defective. Replace the base control PCB (see
Section 4.11.5).
