2.3 Error Message List
Messages are shown on the GUI touch screen to tell the user of the machine status.
Error Message Information Reference
BIN # double
A double feed error has occurred on
the bin detailed. This means that the
bin has fed two sheets of paper,
instead of one. Check and correct the
faulty set and restart the machine.

BIN # empty The paper tray of the named bin is
empty. Reload the bin and touch INCH
to continue the job.

• Tray loaded sensor defective.

BIN # Jam A paper jam has occurred in the bin
detailed. Touch
INCH to clear any
partial sets from the conveyor.

BIN # lift error The suction feed bin tray has failed to
lift up to the feed position.
BIN # miscal There has been a data error on the
Test S et.
• Do a test set.
BIN # miss The feed bin did not feed a sheet. (See MFC User
Operating
Instructions
Manual).
BIN # overload The tray lift motor on the suction feed
bin has stalled.
• Press the emergency stop switch
and allow 10 seconds before you
release it.
• Check the feed bin for
obstructions.
• If the error continues replace the
tray lift motor.
(See Section 4.8.4).
BIN # part reset There is an error with the sheet length
data on the named feed bin.
• Turn the MFC off and then on
again.
• If the error continues replace the
feed bin control PCB.
(See Section 4.8.7).
BIN # trailing The was a trailing feed error on the
feed bin.
• The sheet from the feed bin was
late.
