Why doesn’t the ink dry on the substrate when printing with my Neopost AS-710?

  To address the issue of ink not drying on the substrate with your Neopost Printer, consider the following: * Reduce the print quality to decrease the amount of ink (for example, use 2x6dpi instead of 3x6dpi). * If possible, add a conveyor behind the printer to increase drying time. * Decrease the transport speed to allow more drying time. The issue may also arise because the drying time is too short, there is too much ink, or the material-ink combination isn't suitable. You might also consider trying another kind of ink or varying the material-ink combinations. If available, using an infrared light dryer may resolve the problem.

  If your Neopost Printer's printed elements are positioned incorrectly, it's likely due to wrong values set in the layout menus. To correct this, check that the print direction is set to either NOR or REV. Also, navigate to JOB PARAMETERS > LAYOUT and set LEFT MARGIN, TOP MARGIN, and OFFSET EDGE all to “0”.

  If you're experiencing no or weak printouts with new ink cartridges on your Neopost Printer, the wrong ink type may be selected. Ensure you select the correct ink type in the printer menu for the cartridges you're using. If the ink type is unknown, choose 'u USER INK' by going to PRINTER CONFIG. > INK > SET INK TYPE > u USER INK.
