Shielding and grounding layout in control cabinets
Observe the requeriments of European standard EN60204-1, "Electrical Equipment of Industrial
Machinery". You get optimum EMC only if you properly arrange and mount the OMRON 3G3RX
frequency inverter, the appropriate line filter, and the other equipment which might be necessary,
on a metal mounting plate, in accordance with the following mounting instructions.
The following figure shows a 3G3RX 400V 1.5kW inverter installed with a footprint filter, and some
additional devices (ferrite to minimize high frequency emissions from motor cable and DC reactor
to countermeasure harmonic distorsion effect in supply network).
