13.29 Needle thread cutter ( vertical and horizontal adjustment )
Requirement
1. The distance between the lower edge of the needle thread cutter 1 and the work
clamp 5 must be 0.5 mm.
2. The opened needle thread cutter 1 should catch the needle thread reliably. During
sewing the opening cutter must not collide with the needle.
● Adjust the needle thread cutter 1 ( screw 2 ) according to requirement 1.
● Adjust clamp 3 ( screw 4 ) according to requirement 2.
The adjustment described in requirement 2 cannot be carried out when sewing
extremely thick materials, as this may cause needle breakage.
