13.40 Knife position
Requirement
1. ( When the bobbin thread trimming device is in its neutral position ), knife 1 should be
parallel to the edge of the needle hole with a clearance of 0.5 mm.
2. During the cutting motion, the catcher 3 should move as near as possible to knife
guard 5 without touching it.
● Adjust knife 1 ( screws 2 ) according to requirement 1.
● Adjust catcher 3 ( screws 4 ) according to requirement 2.
