13.33 Needle thread cutter release
Requirement
1. Adjustment hole 6 must match the hole in the mounting plate 7.
2. There should be a distance of approximately 1 mm between the lower edge of pawl 5
and the upper edge of catch 8. ( The thread should not be cut until the needle thread
tension is open. )
● Adjust lever 1 ( screw 2 ) according to requirement 1 with the aid of the adjustment pin
( Part no. 61-111 641-46 ).
● Disengage the needle thread cutter by hand.
● Adjust bar 3 ( screw 4 ) according to requirement 2.
● Raise pawl 5 until the needle thread cutter is engaged.
