13.37 Needle bar height and needle guard
Requirement
1. When the needle penetrates the right side of the right seam, there should be a
clearance of 0.5 mm between the top edge of the needle eye and the hook point 2 at
the end of the needle rise.
2. When the needle penetrates the right side of the left seam, in needle rise position
the needle should lightly touch needle guard 3.

● Select position "2" ( right seam, right needle penetration ).
● Adjust the needle bar 1 ( screw 2 ) according to requirement 1.
● Select position "1" ( left seam, right needle penetration ).
● Align needle guard 3 according to requirement 2.
● Switch off the machine.
