Frankfort plane positioning light
Checking the light
Attach the ball phantom to the patient positioning mechanism adapter and attach the Frank-
fort plane alignment tool (part number 50977) to the ball phantom.
Move the thumb wheel of the layer light slightly to switch the three patient positioning lights
on. The layer light thumb wheel is located on the underside of the patient support table. The
Frankfort plane light beam should be horizontal.

In case the light is not horizontal or not in focus, adjust the light according to the instructions
given on next page.
