AMPLIFIER SERVICE
REMOVAL
1. Remove hood.
2. If windshield is installed, then open or remove it as
required to gain access to upper dash.
3. Remove five push pin rivets from front side of panel,
and two push pin rivets from outboard ends of panel.
Retain rivets.
4. Slide panel upward and rearward, detaching eight
spring clips. Set dash aside.
5. Disconnect the connector from the amplifier.
6. Remove the four fasteners

securing the amplifier
to the subwoofer bracket.
7. Lift the amplifier straight out of the dash.
INSTALLATION
1. Carefully install the amplifier back onto the subwoofer
bracket and align mounting holes.
NOTICE
The amplifier connector end should face toward the
driver side of the vehicle.
2. Install the four fasteners

to secure the amplifier to
the bracket. Torque fasteners to specification.
TORQUE
Amplifier Mounting Fasteners:
30 in-lbs (4 Nm)
3. Connect the connector to the amplifier.
4. Install the upper dash.
5. Install the hood.
