FRONT SPEAKER ASSEMBLY SERVICE
NOTICE
Passenger side speaker shown.
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the speaker harness connector
q
from
the main audio harness and remove the fir tree clip
from hole in the main floor panel.
2. From the front wheel well, remove the three fasteners
w
and washers securing the speaker housing to the
main floor panel.
3. Remove the speaker assembly from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the speaker assembly into the vehicle and
align the mounting holes.
NOTICE
Ensure speaker connector is oriented upward, and not
pinched between speaker and floor panel.
2. From the front wheel well, install the three fasteners
w
and washers securing the speaker housing to the
main floor panel. Torque fasteners to specification.
TORQUE
Front Speaker Housing Mount Fasteners:
30 in-lbs (4 Nm)
3. Connect the speaker harness connector
q
to the
main audio harness and secure fir tree clip to hole in
the main floor panel.
NOTICE
Ensure the connector has been retained with the fir tree
clip.
