8. Carefully peel the antenna
q
from the under-hood
liner.
NOTICE
The antenna is secures to the under-hood liner with
adhesive.
INSTALLATION
1. Route connector on GPS antenna rearward through
firewall grommet, then join to RIDE COMMAND
®
display.
2. Route antenna
q
to mounting location on under-
hood liner.
NOTICE
Ensure harness is routed to prevent contact with hot
components, sharp edges, or moving parts.
3. Use cable tie to coil and secure excess harness
length in upper dash compartment.
4. Clean upper surface of under-hood liner to permit
proper adhesive application. If installing new GPS
antenna, peel backing from antenna and press firmly
in place. If installing the existing GPS antenna, use a
piece of commercially available double sided tape
and press firmly in place.
5. Install the upper dash panel.
6. Install the hood.
