Daylight Savings Time Transitions
You can use the procedure below to correct the Mailing System time:
• As supervisor: How to Check/Adjust the System Time and Date on page 183.
Time and Date Setup
As time and date are required for postage verification you cannot manually adjust the time
and date displayed on your Mailing System.
However, you can ask the system to check the current time and date and display them.

To check the time and date, make sure the connection to the Postal
Server is available. See How to Set the Postal/E-Services
Connection on page 181.
How to Check/Adjust the System Time and Date
To check/adjust the current time and date:
1. As supervisor (see How to Log in as Supervisor on page 154):
Press and select the path: System settings Date and time
If you are processing postage at the time when the system clock
adjusts for daylight savings time, the Mailing System will wait until
you are finished before displaying the new time.
2. Select Audit connection to adjust the time.
The system adjusts its time if necessary and displays time and date values.
