Managing Postage Rates9.5
Your Mailing System uses a Postage Rate file to calculate postage amounts.
To ensure that your Postage Rates are always up to date, your Mailing System can:
Display a list of all Postage Rates that are on your system and see which Rate(s)
are currently being used
Download new Postage Rate files as needed.
New rate files are automatically downloaded into your Mailing
System by connecting the Mailing System to the E-Services server
as a user. See How to Load New Options on page 191.

Displaying Postage Rates Files
The Rate File List displays all Postage Rate Files that are currently installed on your Mailing
System. Any Rate File appearing with a check mark is the active Rate File that contains
the Postage Rates you are currently using to calculate your postage amounts.
Rate files will automatically become active on their effective date.
How to Check your Rate File Updates
To display the list of Postage Rate Files:
1. As supervisor (see How to Log in as Supervisor on page 154):
Press and select the path: Options and Updates Rate Management
TheRate File List is displayed in the Rate management screen.Your Rate Files are
listed by the effective date of each file. (e.g. CA01-CPPC-YYMMDD)
