Placing a Waypoint
3. Youcanusethesoftkeys to editthewaypointpositionas describedin Edit-
ing the Waypoint Details on page 5-13.
It is addedto the WaypointList andnamed with the nextavailablenumber.
To returnto the defaultsoft key display, press ENTER or CLEAR twice.
➤ To placea waypoint as Loran TDs using the Waypoint List:
1. Press MARK,followedbytheWAYPOINT LIST soft key; the WaypointList
and associatedsoft keys are displayed.
2. Press the MAKE NEW WAYPOINT, the waypoint is placed at the current ves-
selposition,orif notavailable,the cursorposition.To change the position
pressthe LORAN TDssoftkey;theWPT POSITION (LORAN TDs) screenisdis-
played, with it’s associatedsoft key.
Note:YoucanenterwaypointsasLoranTDswhichareconvertedtoLat/Long
coordinates. However, although the waypoint is shown in both Lat/Long and
LoranTDsin theWaypointList,youcansubsequentlyonlyeditthe positionas
Lat/Long coordinates. TD entries in the Waypoint List are shown only for
those waypoints which were entered as TDs.
