Saving the Current Route
Youcansaveupto20 namedroutesintheroutedatabaselist.Theseroutescan
thenbe re-displayedand followed at a later date. When you save the route, all
new waypoints are saved in the Waypoint List.
Note: If the current route has not been saved, when you attempt an operation
that affects this route, e.g. CLEAR ROUTE, you are prompted to save it.
➤ To saveand name the current route:
1. To access theSAVE ROUTE softkey, press the ROUTE soft key, followedby
MORE.
2. PresstheSAVE ROUTE softkey.Thesaveroutepop-upandtheNAME ROUTE
softkeys are displayed as illustratedin Figure 5-6.
3. The nextavailable entry on the route list is highlighted.
(If required, you can use the trackpad to select another positionin the list;
thiscan be a blank slot, or an existing route that you no longer require).

4. If you do not wish to name or re-name the route, press the NO soft key to
clear the list. The route is saved and is listed as Route Not Named.
If you wish to name the route press the YES soft key. Use the trackpad to
move thecursor right or left to the characteryou wish to edit. Then use the
top or bottom of the trackpad to increase or decreasethe letteror number.
