Simulator
The simulator allows you to operate your display without data from the
antenna and/or external data sources. The system set up simulator options
havethe followingfunctions:
• Data providessimulated numericaldata, and a waypointdisplay.
• Radarprovides simulated radar picture,with example targets. The pic-
turedoesnotchangeifyouchangetherange,althoughtherangeringsare
adjusted (see Chapter 3)

• Both providessimulated dataand radar picture.
Whenthe simulatoris switched on, a SIMULATOR databoxis displayedduring
operation, showing the simulation selected.
