Data Conversion
The displaysconvert some information across the communications links as
follows:
NMEA In to NMEA Out and SeaTalk
SeaTalk to NMEA Out
Thisenablesdatareceivedbythedisplaytobepassedtootherinstruments.For
example,ifyouhaveamasterand a repeaterdisplay,youonlyneedtoconnect
NMEA In to the masterdisplay, which will pass the data to the repeatervia
SeaTalk.
You can preventNMEA heading data being bridged onto the Seatalk bus -
refer to Bridge NMEA Heading on page 7-9.
Note:To transferNMEA data,orto convertthedata, the displaymustbe pow-
ered On.
