Ifalongerpowercablerunisrequired,usethesuppliedpowercabletoconnect
tothedisplayunit.Thenuseasuitableconnectorblocktoconnectthe freeend
to theextension cable, takingparticular care to ensure correct polarity. The
suppliedpower cable has a cross-section of 2.0 mm

.
Note: For repeater displays, the power cable may be extended by up to 20 m
using a wire gauge of 1.5 mm
2
(AWG 16) or greater, irrespective of the inter-
unit cable length.
Inter-Unit Scanner Cable
The inter-unit (scanner)cable entrance is at the rear of the scanner unit. If the
unitismountedonahollowmastthecablemayberuninsidethemastandthen
fedthroughtheradar’scableentrance.Makesurethatthecabledoesnot chafe
where it enters the mast.
Note: Route the cable from the display up to the scanner, since this will re-
quire the smallest clearance hole.
The type of inter-unit cable,for connectingthe scannerto the display unit,
dependson your scanner package. Refer to the Pathfinder Plus Radar
Scanner Owner’s Handbook for details,which includelength considerations
and bending radii.

The number of hsb

(PLUS) display units that can be connected is limited by
thetotal cable length.
For example:
10 units Max. total cablelength - 40m
8 units Max. totalcable length - 60 m
Note: If you have fewer displays, it may be possible to have more than 60 me-
tresof cable and conversely,if your total cablelength is less than 40 metres,it
may be possible to connect more
