Note: The MOB procedure can also be initiated or cancelled remotely if the
appropriate SeaTalk message is received by the Pathfinder Radar.
4.5 Cursor Echo
In a combinedradar/chartdisplay, or in a system with any chartdisplay
connectedviaSeatalk,youcansetthedisplaytoenablecursortransfer.Cursor
echo(accessedfromtheSetUpMenu)enablesyoutodisplayachartcursoron
theradar picture, or a radar cursor on the chart picture (you cannot display a
remote radar cursor in a radar window, nor a remote chart cursor in a chart
window).
The followingoptions are provided:
• RadarCursorIn:displaysthe cursorfrom anotherradar on the chart dis-
playor chart window (default - OFF).
• ChartCursor In: displaysthe cursor from another chartplotter on the
radar display or radar window (default- OFF).
Note: The remote display must have SeaTalk Cursor Out enabled.
Raymarine recommend that in multi-display systems, you do not enable Cur-
sor Out on more than two displays. If multiple displays have cursor out en-
abled, the cursors will not be displayed simultaneously, but will flash on/off.
• SeaTalk Cursor Out: enables the output, onto SeaTalk, of the display’s
own cursor (default - OFF).
• CursorEchoLocal:echoesthecursorpositionbetweenopenwindowson
the same display (default - ON).
Whentheappropriateoption is switchedon, thedisplayshows itsown cursor,
plusthecursoroftheotherdisplay(s)withappropriatecursortext(RDR orCHT)
to indicate its origin. This meansthat you could move the cursor over atarget
ontheradardisplay,andchecktheidentityofthetargetbylookingat the radar
cursorposition on the chartplotter.
