Switching the Display
On and Off
Chart Mode
➤ To switch the display on, press and hold the POWER key untilthe unit beeps.
If the display was last used in chartplotter mode, the keys light up and the
Raychartgraphic is displayed, followed by the caution:
CAUTION:
Raychartchart displaysare based on cartographic data that
C-MAP believes to be accurate. However, you should not rely on these
displaysas your primary source ofnavigation. Rather, your Raychart
shouldbe used only as a backup to officialgovernment chartsand
traditionalmethodsof navigation.
Whenyouhavereadandunderstoodthecaution,pressthe CONTINUE softkey.
The chart is displayed.
If this is the firsttime the chartplotterhas been turned on, and no chart card is
installed,the display shows the small-scaleworld map and the default soft
keys.Otherwise, the display shows the selected chart area and any data that
weredisplayed when the display was last used.

Switch Off
➤ To switchthe scannerand displayunit off,pressand hold the POWER key for
three seconds. A countdown timer is displayedas shown below:
