Exiting Track mode
To exit Track mode, either:
• Press
AUTO to return to Auto mode, or
• Press
STANDBY to steer manually in Standby mode.
Cross track error
Cross trackerror (XTE) is the distance between the current position and a
planned route. The autopilot receives the cross track error information
from the navigation equipment, and uses this to get back on course.
If the cross track error is greater than 0.3 nm, a Large XTE warning will
occur. Thedisplay will showhow far port orstarboard of the track you are
and the direction you need to steer to get back on track.
Message will "pop-up" in front of current view
