Removal
1. Remove the reservoir. See “Reservoir
Removal” on page 7-100.
2. With the pump assembly inverted, remove
the inlet tube fitting and sealing washer
from the pump housing.

OTE: Use a slight twisting motion when
removing the inlet tube.
3. Clean the filter screen and magnet at the
bottom of the inlet tube with a suitable
solvent. See Figure 7-111.
4. From the pump side, blow dry with clean,
dry compressed air.

Installation
1. Inspect the filter screen, magnet, and inlet
tube for damage. Replace if necessary.
2. Install the inlet tube, sealing washer, and
fitting in the pump housing.
3. Install the hydraulic reservoir. See
“Reservoir Installation” on page 7-100.
