6. REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT
6.1 PRECAUTION

CAUTION
Before starting disassembly, be sure to print all message files in the SAF memory.
Then, turn off the main power switch and disconnect the power cord and
telephone cable for safety.
Lithium Battery
The danger of explosion exists if a battery of this type is incorrectly replaced.
Replace only with the same or an equivalent type recommended by the
manufacturer. Discard used batteries in accordance with the manufacturer’s
instructions.
6.2 FCU
6.2.1 REMOVAL
- If optional G4 or G3 interface kits are not installed -
1. Remove the rear cover.
2. Disconnect the cables.
3. Remove the FCU unit [A] (6 screws) from the machine.
