Printer Switch 00

0 Page separation mark
0: Disabled
1: Enabled
0: No marks are printed.
1: If a received page has to be printed out on two
sheets, an asterisk inside square brackets is
printed at the bottom right hand corner of the first
sheet, and a “2” inside a small box is printed at
the top right hand corner of the second sheet.
This helps the user to identify pages that have
been split.
1 Repetition of data when the
received page is longer than
the printer paper
0: Disabled
1: Enabled
0: The next page continues from where the
previous page left off.
1: The final few mm of the previous page are
repeated at the top of the next page. The amount
of repeated data depends on printer switch 04,
bits 5 and 6.

received fax messages

1: Enabled
This switch is only effective when user parameter
02 - bit 2 (printing the received date and time on
received fax messages) is enabled.
1: The machine prints the received and printed
date and time at the bottom of each received
page.

0: The machine informs the transmitting machine
of the print width depending on the paper size
available from the paper feed stations.
Refer to the table on the next page for how the
machine chooses the paper width used in the
setup protocol (NSF/DIS).
1: The machine informs the transmitting machine
of the fixed paper width which is specified by bits
3 and 4 above.
