3. INSTALLATION PROCEDURES
3.1 PRINTER CONTROLLER

CAUTION
Unplug the main machine power cord before starting the following
procedure.
1. When installing the optional HDD (G690), or PS Kit (B308), or Network
Interface Board (B307), first remove the printer controller [A] from the
expansion box [B] (2 screws). Refer to their respective installation manuals for
more details.
2. After installing the options reinstall the printer controller.
NOTE:
When the optional scanner kit (A844) is installed, Install it to the
expansion box at this time (see the scanner kit installation manual).
3. Remove the connector cover [C], rear cover [D] (4 screws), and application
cover [E] (1 screw).
