6.3 BOOKLET MAKING PROCESS
6.3.1 PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
Compiling
Copier sends a start signal. The pre infeed motor (BK-M19) and infeed motor (BK-
M1) start. The set enters the infeed module. Infeed sensor (BK-Q1) activates. Side
guides moves half way in (BK-M3). The infeed wheel transports the set down to
the staple stop. The set stops at the staple stop. The start sensor (BK-Q4), by the
staple stop, activates. The infeed wheel keeps on running for a period of time set
by the paper size, after the trail edge of the last sheet has passed the infeed sen-
sor (BK-Q1).
