Changing the safety password
Note
The machine manufacturer decides whether or not a password is required. The probability of
failure (PFH) and ce
rtification of the safety functions apply even if no password has been set.
The safety password can only be read or changed in online mode.
To change the safety password, proceed as follows:
1. Go online with the drive.
2. Click "Enter password" in the secondary navigation.
A password prompt appears.

3. Enter the current password at the top.
4. Enter the new password at the bottom.
5. Enter the new password again at the bottom.
6. Click "Change password" to accept the new password.
