SS1 (extended functions)
Make the settings for the motor deceleration in the "Safe Stop 1" (SS1) screen form. The
"SS1" function brakes the motor, monitors the magnitude of the motor deceleration within
specified limits, and after a delay time or violation of a speed threshold, triggers the "STO"
function.

Braking is monitored with the "Safe Acceleration Monitor" function.
The delay time starts after the function has been selected (p9556). If SS1
is deselected again within this time, the STO function is selected and de-
se
lected immediately again after the delay time has expired or if the speed
drops below the shutdown speed; i.e. the SS1 function is terminated nor-
mally. It cannot be interrupted.
Parameters r9773.4 (SBC requested) and r9773.1 (STO selected in the
drive) display the current status of the function.
SS1 with SAM and OFF3 (with/without
encoder) and STO of the Basic Functions
via onboard terminals
Braking is monitored with the "Safe Acceleration Monitor" function.
The delay time starts after the function has been selected (p9556). If SS1
is deselected again within this time, the STO function is selected and de-
selected immediately again after the delay time has expired or if the speed
drops below the shutdown speed; i.e. the SS1 function is terminated nor-
mally. It cannot be interrupted.
Parameters r9773.4 (SBC requested) and r9773.1 (STO selected in the
drive) display the current status of the function.

selected and switches to "Safe Torque Off" (STO) once the delay time set
in p9652 has elapsed.

lected and switches to "Safe Torque Off" (STO) once the delay time has
elapsed (p9556) or when the shutdown speed is undershot (p9560).
Parameters r9773.4 (SBC requested) and r9773.1 (STO selected in the
drive) display the current status of the function.
