Configuring the brake test via BICO interconnection
1. Select the "SBT via BICO" setting in the "Select SBT" drop-down list.
2. Select the test settings in the "Brake 1" and "Brake 2" drop-down lists.
See "Features / Test configurations".
3. Set the following information in the input fields for Brake 1:
– Test duration (p10211[0])
– Holding torque (p10209[0])
– Position tolerance (p10212[0])
– Ramp time (p10209[0])
– Factor (p10210[0])
4. If you have set a 2nd brake, set the following information in the input fields for Brake 2:
– Test duration (p10211[1])
– Holding torque (p10209[1])
– Position tolerance (p10212[1])
– Ramp time (p10209[1])
– Factor (p10210[1])
5. Interconnect the following signal sources for the safe brake test control word for the brake
test via BICO:
– Select brake test (p10230[0])
– Start brake test (p10230[1])
– Select brake (p10230[2])
– Select test torque sign (p10230[3])
– Select test sequence (p10230[4])
– Status of external brake (p10230[5])
6. Click "Save project" in the toolbar to save the changes in the project.
