For internal faults or limit value violations, the drive-internal safety functions issues safety
faults.
1. Interconnect signal source p9620 for the safety functions STO, SS1 or SBC to the Control
Unit.
Only the fixed zero and digital inputs DI 0 ... 7, 16, 17, 20 and 21 are permissible as
signal sources.
2. Enter a discrepancy time [ms] in the "Discrepancy time" (p9650) field.
3. Enter a time [ms] for the input filter (debounce time) in the "F-DI input filter" (p9651) field.
This debounce time applies for the F-DIs and the readback input for the forced checking
procedure. The debounce time specifies the maximum time an interference pulse can be
present at F-DIs before being interpreted as a switching operation.
The PROFIsafe address is required for control of the safety functions via PROFIsafe.

"Telegram configuration"
The properties of the PROFINET interface are displayed in the Inspector window. The
"Cyclic data traffic" setting range is active. The telegrams for the drive objects can be
specified here.
2. Click the <Add telegram> entry in the telegram configuration of "Drive axis_x".
3. Select the "Add safety telegram" option in the drop-down list of the entry:
The "Safe actual value" and "Safe setpoint" lines are then inserted. The relevant
PROFIsafe telegrams are preassigned.
4. Open the new "Safe setpoint" screen form (for Drive axis_x) in the Inspector window.
5. Correct the PROFIsafe address of the drive in the "F-address" field.
6. Switch back to the "control" screen form of the DRIVE-CLiQ editor.
The value of the F-address is displayed in the "PROFIsafe address" (p9610) field. A
preassigned PROFIsafe telegram is displayed in the "PROFIsafe telegram no." drop-
down list.
7. Click "Accept values" to transfer the telegram from the default settings into the Safety
programming.
8. Select the desired stop response for a failure of the PROFIsafe communication in the
"PROFIsafe failure response" (p9612) drop-down list.
