Description
The conver
ter can be operated with or without an SD card.
The converter supports FAT32-format SD cards with a capacity of up to 32GB.
A permanently inserted SD card from Siemens is required to use functions that require a
license. The license key can only be assigned to the Siemens SD card.
An SD card from Siemens or a third-party manufacturer (for example, Kingston or SanDisk) is
suitable for the following situations:
• Data backup and restore
• Transfer of the converter settings from one converter to another
• Firmware update
