Connectingthecoursegyro
AcoursegyromustbeconnectedtotheInterfaceUnit.Thecable
mustbeprovidedbytheinstallationshipyard.TheSX90can
readthecourseinformationfromanRS-232serialline.Incase
whereonlya3-phasesynchroorsteppersignalisavailable,an
optionalGyroInterfaceUnitmustbeusedforconvertingthese
signalstoRS-232seriallineformat.Tickoffforthetypewhich
isconnected.

ThecoursedataontheRS-232seriallinemustbeona
standardNMEA0183telegramformat.Thetelegramcan
containboththespeedandthecoursedata.Connectthe
seriallinetoanyvacantport(TB1-7)intheInterfaceUnitas
