withdatasentences,whereeachtelegramhasadenedformat
andlength.
TheNMEA0183Standardisthemostcommonprotocolusedfor
receivingandtransmittingsensordata.Thefollowingapproved
sentencestructureareusedforallNMEAdata:
$aaccc,c—c*hh<CR><LF>
ForsometelegramsreceivedfromotherSimradequipment,the
$characterisreplacedbythe@character.Accordingtothe
NMEAstandard,thechecksumeldmaynotbeused.
