ThecylindricalTransducerarrayallowsthesonarbeamtogive
full360degreescoverageofthewatervolumedownto-60
degrees.Thesensorfortheelectronicstabilizationofthesonar
beamsishousedintheMotorControlUnit,whichismounted
ontheHullUnit.
WARNING
Ifthetransducerhitslargerobjectsorbottom,
thetransducershaftmaybebent,orinworstcase
itcanbebrokenoff.Abrokentransducershaft
willcausewaterleakageinthetopoftheshaft.
Topreventlargerleakagesinsuchacase,donot
raisethetransducershafttotheupperposition.
Topreventseriousdamagesitisthereforeofgreat
importancetohaveagoodpumpandwarning
systeminthesonarroom.

theinstallation,andthattheapplicablemaritimeauthoritiesare
availabletoverifyandcertifytheinstallation.
